About Me

My name is Neal Gallagher, and I’ve always had a strong passion for level design and technical design, driven by a deep fascination with how systems, mechanics, and environments shape player experiences. From building immersive worlds to scripting gameplay logic, I thrive in the space where creativity meets problem-solving.

My interest in game development began with a curiosity about how games are made — not just the art or the code, but the design decisions that make games feel intuitive, challenging, and rewarding. This led me to specialize in level design and technical design, where I focus on creating engaging gameplay spaces and building the systems that support them.

Recently, I've been expanding my skill set by diving into data analytics. With these new skills, I believe that combining design intuition with analytical thinking can lead to smarter, more player-focused game development.

Whether I’m crafting a level flow, scripting gameplay logic, or analyzing player data, my goal is always the same: to create experiences that are meaningful, memorable, and fun.
